We had friends over last night for dinner, and then we all went to the puppet show at the library. Our library does at least one evening family event every month, and puppet shows every few months. This one was A Christmas Carol, and they did a great job. The kids loved it. The show is organized by the children's librarian, but completely done by the library "volun-teens". Looks around the audience, I noticed there were a lot of homeschool families there. When the kids came out for their bows, I found out why. Every one of the volun-teens was a homeschooler. For a community of 10K, there are a lot of homeschoolers here. At the park days last fall, it was wonderful to see the huge age span of the kids and so many teens.

The playgroup and parents' meeting I organize meets this morning, so I'm off to finish cleaning the house and washing dishes. 50 minutes to get ready!
